In solar system, PV clamp are key components for fixing solar modules.
They not only ensure the stable installation of solar modules, but also play a supporting and protective role.
Correct installation of these components is essential for the long-term stable operation of solar systems.
PV End clamp are usually used for the edge part of photovoltaic modules. Its main function is to fix the outer edge of the module to prevent the module from displacement or damage under wind load, snow load or other external forces. The end clamp helps to seal the photovoltaic panel, prevent rain or dust from entering, and protect the internal electrical components.
PV Mid clamp are used at the connection between two photovoltaic modules. Its function is to fix adjacent modules, maintain a reasonable distance between them, and prevent modules from colliding or misaligning with each other. Mid clamp play an important role in ensuring the stability of modules, heat dissipation space and load balancing.
PV End clamp installation method
- Choose the right end clamp: According to the size of the photovoltaic module and the installation environment, choose the end clampof appropriate size and material. Generally speaking, the end clampshould be matched with the mounting bracket system to ensure tightness and durability.
- Installation location: The end clampis usually installed at the four edge corners or side edges of the photovoltaic module. The end clampneeds to be aligned with the track or fixing screw hole on the bracket.
- Fixing operation:
–Place the photovoltaic module on the bracket to ensure that the edge of the module is in close contact with the bracket track.
–Place the end clamp on the edge of the module and fix it to the bracket with bolts.
–Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to ensure that the end clamp fits tightly with the module, but avoid applying excessive force to avoid cracking the photovoltaic panel.
PV Mid clamp installation method
- Choose a suitable mid clamp: The height and width of the mid clampshould match the thickness of the photovoltaic module to ensure that there is enough space between the modules to facilitate heat dissipation and prevent mutual extrusion.
- Installation location: The mid clampis usually installed at the joint of two adjacent photovoltaic modules.
- Fixing operation:
–Place two photovoltaic modules on the bracket to ensure that a reasonable spacing is reserved between them.
–Insert the mid clamp into the gap between the modules to ensure that the bottom of the mid clamp is aligned with the track or screw hole of the bracket.
–Use bolts to secure the intermediate pressure block. When tightening, ensure that the distance between components remains consistent and be careful not to damage the edges of the components.
